The experiment showed the evolution of the humanoid flying robot Jet-HR2. The new navigation system allows the robot to be moved with feedback from the drawing process. The video shows the robot’s ability to stay in the air for more than 20 seconds.

Tapomayukh Bhattacharjee received support from the National Science Foundation (NSF) National Robotic Initiative (NBI) for a project aimed at tackling stigma – how people with autism are given the opportunity to improve and become independent in their communities, especially how they are fed – or better, how to feed themselves with the help of a robot.

A novel quadcopter that is capable of modifying the central shape is shown, which allows it to operate in four variants with a maximum of three times the potential.

Two EPFL research teams teamed up to develop a machine learning program that could interact with the human brain and be used to control robots. The program modifies the robot’s behavior based on electrical signals from the brain. The hope is that by doing this, tetraplegic patients will be able to perform many daily activities on their own.

The MRV is SpaceLogistics’ next generation vehicle, which incorporates hand-paid payments developed and integrated by the US Naval Research Laboratory and provided by the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. In this Flight Robotic Arm System 1 test, the robot’s arm performs a gauntlet exercise, which moves the arm through a series of modes that run all seven levels of freedom.
