S’adapter by Clara Dupont-Monod (Ed. Stock)

This is the story of a black-eyed baby who floats, fleeing in mysterious ways, a baby lying all the time, with soft and round cheeks, legs with blue veins, high vocalizations, twisted feet and m ’empty mouth. , the eternal baby, the unborn child who draws the invisible boundaries between his family and others. This is the story of his place in the house of Cévennes where he was born, amid a dynamic environment and protective mountains; about his place in his family and in a troubled childhood. The adult, who connects with the child, who, on the cheek and cheek, attentive and almost Siamese, connects with him, abandons himself and throws himself into him. That of the youngest, whose disgust and anger are placed, the rejection of the child who sucks the joy of his parents and the power of the elder. The youngest ones who live in the shadow of the ghosts of the family as they carry the rebirth of the gift of remembrance.
As in mythology, the stones of the court bear witness. As a myth, power comes from children, from the crazy love of a protective adult, from a rebellious little one who will deny grief to save a family. The last one who will know how to reconcile the issues.
The birth of a disabled child is announced by his relatives. A good and bright book.
