Tele2 IoT enables electric vehicle wireless charging on the move through a new agreement with Elonroad

Tele2 IoT is making progress in the electronics industry as well as in the automotive industry by providing connectivity equipment to Elonroad, which has developed the technology of electric roads where electric vehicles can charge for driving.

Elonroad, based in Lund, Sweden, has developed a problem-solving approach such as the highway where all types of electric vehicles – cars, buses, and trucks – regardless of the manufacturer, can pay for it while driving.

With more electric cars on the streets, charging for driving reduces bottles and also helps smaller batteries.

The solution to this problem consists of a rail that connects to the road by placing it directly on the asphalt. Rails can withstand all weather conditions and short sections are run individually, which provides adequate protection.

Karin Ebbinghaus, CEO of Elonroad, says:

“Our smart electrical network needs to be connected to the internet so that we can streamline, streamline, and collect revenue from users. The partnership with Tele2 is crucial for us in our ongoing journey.”

Through 2CONTROL, Tele2 IoT network monitoring platform, Elonroad will be able to monitor and manage its IoT subscriptions. Elonroad’s work includes an integrated control system to measure the performance of each vehicle and can also monitor road conditions, such as hazards, which can be connected to prevent accidents.

“Elonroad is an exciting start with a solution that will be critical to achieving the goal of self-propelled fleet by 2030. By making 5G available, we protect Elonroad’s digital path and ensure reliable connectivity. which requires less latency can be done, such as sending data from cameras. We are proud to have them on the Elonroad transit “, says Stefan Trampus, EVP B2B at Tele2.
