Police raided the scene just after 7pm Thursday.
He gave first aid to the boy before the ambulance arrived but was pronounced dead at 7.36 pm.
The victim’s family has been notified but a formal identification has not been forthcoming. Death testing will take place later.

Met Police chief Alex Murray said: “I am deeply saddened by the killings this year, and I am deeply concerned about those who have been killing young people. Everything is sad to leave broken families and poor communities.
“My thoughts are with the victims and all those affected. They are not numbers, not just numbers, they all have families, and they all have to live in front of them.
“They and their families have been deprived of something of value and we must all do our best to make this possible,” he said.
He also said police were using “more” to prevent the killings and said the Met was “not happy” about the knife blight.
No arrests have been made and police have asked anyone with information to contact them via 101 quoting reference CAD 5443 / 30Dec.
