Succession leads the way with eight nominations in Critics Choice TV Awards

The Critics Choice Association has confirmed the list of nominees for the 2022 TV Awards with Succession leading the eight-theme package.

In addition to the Best Drama Series, the HBO show sees stars Brian Cox and Jeremy Strong both become Best Actor in the Drama Series.

Nicholas Braun, Kieran Culkin and Matthew Macfadyen are the contestants for Best Supporting Actor in Drama, while J Smither-Cameron and Sarah Snook have won the title of Best Supporting Actress in Drama.

Elsewhere, Easttown Mare (HBO) and Evil (Paramount +) were all selected five.

HBO surpassed Netflix on the most popular event, earning 20 to 18 viewers.

Winners of the 27th annual Critics Choice Awards will be announced at the star-studded ceremony on January 9, 2022, and broadcast on The CW and TBS from 7pm – 10pm (ET).
