Police appeal for witnesses following four-vehicle crash in Scunthorpe

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a four-vehicle collision in Scunthorpe.

The incident took place on Friday, June 17 at around 7.10pm at the Ashby Ville roundabout at Lakeside. It is reported that the vehicles involved were a black Kawasaki motorbike, a black Audi A6, a white Vauxhall Adam and a silver BMW 1 Series.

Now, police have taken to social media to appeal for any witnesses to contact them. They are also asking for anyone with dashcam footage from the area at the time of the collision to get in touch.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Officers investigating reports of a road traffic collision in Scunthorpe are appealing for witnesses to come forward. It was reported that four vehicles were in collision on the eastbound A18 at the Ashby Ville roundabout at Lakeside at around 7:10 pm on Friday 17 June .

“The vehicles involved are believed to have been a black Kawasaki motorbike, a black Audi A6, a white Vauxhall Adam, and a silver BMW 1 Series. If anyone witnessed the collision, or has dashcam footage from the area at the time, you can contact us on our non-emergency number 101, quoting log 522 of 17 June. “
