NRW Finance Minister Andreas Pinkwart (FDP) has asked for an exit payment for previous exits. If Germany stops producing coal-fired power by early 2030, the return on construction funding “should be accelerated,” Pinkwart told Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger (Friday). 14.8 billion euros is available at NRW. It would make sense to “create a special fund if possible, rather than devote it to the annual budget plan,” the minister said. This makes it easier to prepare and speeds up the installation.
One of the key elements of the Berlin Ampel Coalition’s future program is to increase climate protection efforts. The coal phase planned for the year 2038 will soon be brought to 2030.
