Philippe Coutinho seals stirring Aston Villa comeback in Manchester United draw

Superb sub Philippe Coutinho sealed an exciting rematch for Aston Villa as Steven Gerrard’s side struggled to take a 2-2 Premier League draw with Manchester United.

As I started the week and advanced to the third FA Cup final with an unbeaten chance, Ralf Rangnick’s side looked for a win-win streak against Villa on Saturday evening.

An outcry from Emiliano Martinez gave Bruno Fernandes a chance to open the scoring and the replacement captain chased United ahead of Villa Park, just starting with young Coutinho to resume a fight.

The former Liverpool midfielder was involved in the preparation for the beating of Jacob Ramsey, a 20-year-old graduate student who has been loaned out to Barcelona to get to the front of the Holte End during his appearance at Villa.

It was an unbeaten end to a thrilling, defensive start to United’s impressive start, but they failed to settle for the Fernandes’ 25-yard opener as Villa grew in confidence and began to try David De Gea on a regular basis.

Fernandes seemed to have won when he shot at the bottom of the cross, but January January signing Coutinho helped turn things around the night his teammate Lucas Digne was also impressed.

Villa Park was shaken to the end of the game, but the game started when Fernandes banned them.

Morgan Sanson – instead of suspended John McGinn – was convicted of felony misconduct by Alex Telles, who decided to refuse to play in a free-kick and instead played a brief shot for Fernandes.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a team of gunmen and shot at Martinez, who appeared to be on the verge of a collision with the ball.

United went on the front foot against those who were terrified of the giants.

Anthony Elanga, a 19-year-old who made his debut in the league, got up well to take the lead on Fred’s cross and Martinez spread the word to stop Mason Greenwood from hitting.

Telles and Greenwood tried again when Villa looked like a bullet that went to United on Monday.

It took 32 minutes to see. De Gea successfully dealt with Ollie Watkins’ attempt, but he had to be in the right place at the right time when United’s soft thighs threatened to destroy them again.

Digne shot in the corner that Emiliano Buendia was able to meet the nearest Spanish header, before digging Digne with his knees.

Kortney Hause replaced Ezri Konsa with a heart attack at Villa’s defense as the teams came out on top, while Fernandes was suspended and tested Elanga Martinez within 80 seconds of the start.

Ramsey forced De Gea to survive as Gerrard’s men pushed for the manager, while Buendia and Digne tried to tackle growing United.

Rangnick had already begun to express his frustration at the support line, but their two children were soon on the verge of expanding their direction.

Matty Cash was resting on the spot where Elanga drove from his mistake, before Greenwood crashed to the right and hit the danger from the big side.

There were signs of Rangnick’s career in the junior game, as well as the move that put United in second place.

The team rallied systematically and under pressure Sanson sent a folder that Fred dropped, the midfielder cleverly putting Fernandes down to hit the bottom of the cross.

Sanson vented his anger on line water bottles when he was replaced by Coutinho shortly before, and the Brazilian took immediate action.

Tyrone Mings exploded the field and the founder took part in a game that ended when the ball bounced off Ramsey’s path to hit the front of Holte End.

The youngster forced De Gea to save immediately and his goal brought hope to the team that could match the 82nd minute.

Buendia played through Ramsey to direct the first left cross to the far side, while Coutinho turned home to raise the old ceiling.

Coutinho’s attempt to win was halted by De Gea and his replacement Donny Van De Beek was blocked on the other side as he shared the points.

Perhaps the injured Cristiano Ronaldo has something to say about United’s views.
