One rescuer trapped in Russian coal mine for 24 hours found alive


One of the rescuers, who appeared to have died after a fire and explosion at the Listvyazhnaya mine in the Russian province of Kemerovo, was found alive, Russia’s EMERCOM chief Alexander Chupriyan said. TASS Price reports.

It is thought to be an act described in the Criminal Code “Violations of industrial safety regulations in dangerous industrial areas, resulting in the death of two or more persons by negligence.”
