Morocco to suspend flights with France because of Covid-19 fears

Published on: 25/11/2021 – 18:15

Morocco has suspended all flights to and from France from November 26 due to Covid-19, the state media reported on Thursday.

Morocco has established a vaccination certificate to go to public places after receiving more than 50 percent of the population’s vaccine.

Morocco has already banned flights with Russia, the UK and the Netherlands over concerns about Covid-19.

Earlier Thursday, a French newspaper Le Figaro said to be an inexpensive carrier Easyjet suspended all flights between France and Morocco until December for blocking entry into Morocco.

The paper said that according to the new rules, which were published last Sunday, all riders – whether Moroccans or foreigners in Morocco – who have claimed to have a Covid-19 as soon as they arrive in the country must return to their country of origin – the cost of flight.

Representatives of Easyjet were not immediately available for comment.
