Iranian National Football team goalie has entry in Guinness Book

Iranian football team player Alireza Beiranvand has entered the Guinness Book of Records for the longest time scoring all the goals.

Alireza Beiranvand threw a 61-meter hurdle at the National Football Team against South Korea in September 2021. This broke all previous records.

The 28-year-old now plays on loan at Boavista in the Portuguese Primeira Liga.

He helped the Iranian national team reach the top of Group A in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.

Many football fans, professionals and players including players can name his throw of amazing things.

In addition to his ability to throw long distances, the Beiranvand story is inspiring. As a child, he left his father’s home to fulfill his dream of becoming a professional soccer player.

After leaving the village, he lost his long-term home in the Iranian capital Tehran. He later worked in the textile industry, in car wash and street cleaning before becoming the best goal scorer in the Iranian Premier League.

Beiranvand has attracted international attention after rescuing Cristiano Ronaldo in a match that Iran played against Portugal in the 2018 World Cup.
