France will unveil Covid vaccine promotions for all adults and enforce far-reaching laws to curb new diseases – without the use of contraceptives or curfews.
The fifth eagle eagle in France will be “undoubtedly longer and stronger” than the fourth hurricane this summer, Health Minister Olivier Véran told a news conference Thursday.
“We can pass read this do not use the “coercive methods” used by their French neighbors, he added, declaring that there would be no business closure or travel restrictions in the meantime.
Covid booster shoots, which have so far been found for those 65 years of age and older, will be available to all adults from the end of this week, with a period between the second and third shots being shortened to five months instead of six.
Many vaccines have been reopened this week to accommodate the 19 million people who are eligible for the vaccine.
Véran said France had enough vaccines, which the health ministry showed showed the country had more than 30 million cases.
The promotion will be part of the health certificate, which is required to enter many public places, including restaurants, cafes, theaters and museums.
By January 15, adults must submit proof of encouragement for their health to be acceptable.
In addition, non-vaccinated testing for non-vaccinated individuals is only valid for one day, instead of the current 72 hours.
Eye masks will also be acceptable in all areas of public housing, and government officials may choose to wear masks outside of certain situations.
Christmas markets will depend on people with a health certificate, Véran added.
Working from home is encouraged if possible.
Véran said France is looking at childhood immunizations, but it will not start next year, with the French medical authorities and health officials considering the issue.
On Thursday, the European Union’s Medicines Agency (EMA) approved the Pfizer BioNTechComirnaty vaccine for children aged 5 to 11 years.
It also said that the benefits of the vaccine outweigh its risks, especially for those with conditions that increase the risk of developing Covid syndrome.
The 10mg dose will be lower than the 30mg given to the elderly, however.
The EMA will now submit its recommendations to the European Commission, which will issue a final ruling.
