Not to be confused with another US crime drama that also has a headline A Violent Person. Steve Mackleson is a notorious prisoner, convicted of double murder in a high-security prison. She tries to deal with her struggle with redemption, order, and internal turmoil as a young black terrorist lives in her new room and a daughter she has never met asked to meet her estranged father – face to face.
