Iranian Health Minister Bahram Einollahi says 85 percent of Iranians have received the first Covid vaccine and 70 percent have been given the full dose.
He speaks on the side of donating a 5 million dose of home jab called Razi Covopars. The health ministry said the number of vaccines was an astounding number worldwide, adding that this was a sign of the Iranian people’s confidence in the Ministry of Health.
Einollahi said the spread of Covid has slowed down in Iran, but there is always the possibility of a new wave, and health policies need to be carefully followed.
He also said that the Iranian people should learn to own Covid, adding that “one of the best in the world has been made in Iran, which has health, security and prosperity.”
Einollahi said Razi Covopars is one of the top and most effective vaccines and Iran will use it to provide support. “Currently, up to 20% of the Razi Institute vaccine can be exported,” he said. According to the Iranian helmet minister, people who received Sinopharm in their first and second doses should receive the third Astrazeneca vaccine.
